Michael G. Hickey, PA-C, MAJ (R)

Michael G. Hickey brings more than 45 years of experience in clinical medicine, with extensive practice in emergency medicine, trauma, and orthopedics. He also served over 20 years in military medicine, supporting both combat operations and humanitarian missions.
Currently, Mr. Hickey serves as a consultant to the Conafay Group, the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC), and Washington University’s BioGenerator. He previously served as an instructor in Operational Medicine with the U.S. Department of State and continues to teach within the Department of Military Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. In addition, he contributes to the advancement of the field as a reviewer for the journal Military Medicine.
Mr. Hickey studied at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and earned his undergraduate degree in Bachelors of Science in Management from St. Louis University, followed by paramedic certification and Physician Assistant certification from the same institution. He maintains certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
