Henry Mills
Research Associate
Henry Mills supports The Conafay Group’s policy, coalition, and non-dilutive funding teams. He has been with the firm for three years, beginning as an intern and developing a refined focus in government relations and federal funding. Today, he works directly with The Conafay Group’s coalition managers and the federal government relations team on allied development, policy assessment, and regulatory analysis across congressional and administrative engagement efforts.
Alongside interning with The Conafay Group, Henry earned his Bachelor Arts degree from The George Washington University, Elliott School of International Affairs in economics and international affairs, with a concentration in international economics. Within both academic disciplines, Henry has developed a growing interest in health policy as the backbone of securing America’s global strategic interests. In recognition of his work as an undergraduate research assistant, Henry received a fellowship award from GWU’s Institute for International Economic Policy for research contributions on global value chains, historical shifts in foreign direct investment from the People’s Republic of China, and active analysis on U.S. relationships with trading partners. Additionally, during his time in Washington D.C. as an undergraduate Henry served as president of the Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Society and held various senior leadership roles in student government.
