Senior Project Manager
Hannah Baer is a senior research associate with The Conafay Group providing a wide range of support for the firm’s public policy, coalition, and funding teams. Ms. Baer conducts research and analyzes legislation, organizes and leads client meetings on Capitol Hill and with allied partners, as well as manages projects for senior leadership and clients.
During her undergraduate career Ms. Baer spent over two years working for The Optical Society, a leading scientific society, conducting cutting edge market research of the photonics industry to support the scientific advisors and public policy team. Prior to this, she interned for an Anthem Inc. contractor, working with subject matter experts to develop healthcare management trainings. Ms. Baer also worked all four years in GW’s alumni relations office gaining extensive knowledge of non-profit fundraising and program management.
Ms. Baer earned her B.S. in Economics and minor in Public Health from The George Washington University as a Presidential Academic Scholar. She is passionate about the use of data, economics, and science to develop effective public health policies. Additionally, Ms. Baer studied international business and management abroad in Vienna, Austria at one of Europe’s top business schools.
